Can anyone suggest how to remove all traces of the existing drivers so that I can reinstall with fresh downloads to check there is not a corrupt file causing this. In my opinion you should back-up all your data and reinstall recovery image.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, using the existing driver, and also downloading the driver set from Toshiba.

You can check what other people write about it but if you cannot fix it with driver reinstallation I presume there must be some problem with registry entries.

The time now is I suspected a hardare fail, but managed to reboot and get running the old HDD and was able to see the available networks, so this ruled that theory out.
